About Brittany
Brittany, a lifelong resident of Chatham, joined Powerworks in 2013. Shortly after becoming a member, she began leading kids classes and was part of Powerworks Kids.
She has her Applied Life Sciences Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign where she was a
4-year varsity athlete. After graduating from U of I, Brittany returned to Glenwood as a PE teacher and coach where she coached basketball, softball and volleyball.
Bisch was the Varsity Volleyball Coach before having her daughter and becoming a stay-at-home mom.
She is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS), holds certifications for TRX, cycle,
pilates mat, and yoga. Brittany especially loves high
energy classes like cycle, line-dancing, and step class
but truly enjoys weightlifting classes and helping
members and clients maintain good practices in the weightroom.
If she isn’t at the gym, she is at horse shows cheering
for her husband Phil and daughter Alice Ann or
watching her daughter shoot archery. She loves quilting, playing slow-pitch and competing in Scottish Highland Games.
